About The Position

At Stevenson Oaks, part of the Methodist Retirement Communities family, we believe life doesn’t stop at retirement—it gets richer. We are seeking a Director of Life Enrichment to lead dynamic programming that engages the mind, body, and spirit of our residents.

Requirements

A creative leader with a passion for senior living and hospitality.
Strong organizational and communication skills to balance big-picture vision with daily details.
Experience in event planning, recreation, or wellness programming (preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting).
A team player with a heart for service and the ability to motivate others.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Hospitality, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and oversee a robust calendar of events, activities, and wellness programs that reflect resident interests and encourage social, spiritual, and intellectual engagement.
Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of activity professionals and volunteers to deliver memorable experiences.
Partner with residents, families, and staff to ensure programming is personalized and inclusive.
Coordinate special events, outings, and intergenerational programs that connect residents with the broader Fort Worth community.
Manage the department budget, schedules, and compliance with state/federal guidelines.
