About The Position

Columbia College is seeking a dynamic, visionary, and service-oriented leader to serve as the Director of Library Services and Educational Resources. This role is crucial for fostering a progressive 21st-century library environment and ensuring comprehensive academic support for our diverse student body. The Director will provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and innovative leadership for all library services, archives, and the academic support programs.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with or without direct supervision.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of and commitment to innovative technology and web-based instruction.
Commitment to library and archives in an academic setting.
Master’s Degree in Library Science, Higher Education Administration, Information Science, or related field.
Five years’ experience in a professional position in higher education.
Supervisory experience.

Experience with library system platforms (e.g., integrated library systems, discovery services).
