Location TBD Clearance Level T2 – Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) Primary Function Directs security and law enforcement functions to maintain order, safety, and legal compliance within a high-security facility with diverse and high-risk populations. All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Acuity International is recognized. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of law enforcement or corrections experience with senior leadership responsibility.
  • Peace Officer Standards Training (POST) certification or equivalent; firearms qualifications as applicable.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary clearances and credentials required for access to detention facilities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain favorable background investigations.
  • Meet the requirements of the contract for all immunizations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, resided in the U.S. for 3 years in the past 5 years.
  • Must complete all required training.

Nice To Haves

  • FBI-LEEDA trilogy, IACP leadership training, or similar advanced programs.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, or fluency in other languages
  • Has undergone a federal investigation at the level of Tier 2 or higher; has been granted favorable suitability/eligibility and has not had a break in service for more than 24 months.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce security policies, post orders, and incident response protocols.
  • Oversee investigations, evidence handling, and coordination with external agencies.
  • Manage staffing, training, firearms/less-lethal programs, and use-of-force reviews.
  • Analyze security intelligence, trends, and vulnerabilities; implement corrective actions.
  • Lead emergency management (NIMS/ICS) integration and critical incident command.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with federal privacy standards.
