The Director of Knowledge Management & Innovation will lead organization-wide efforts to design and implement knowledge management (KM) systems and practices. The role will establish foundational KM infrastructure, support staff in effective use of systems, and ensure knowledge is leveraged for programmatic impact and fundraising. Success in this role means NHeLP staff have intuitive tools for accessing and sharing knowledge, funders see clear impact data, and external audiences can better engage with NHeLP’s expertise. This role aims to introduce and maintain effective and efficient file storage in Box, make information easier to find through knowledge and communication hubs in Box Hubs, identify and migrate the Legal & Policy research database, and set a vision for external-facing, knowledge-driven programmatic work. The Director will also chair and coordinate the Knowledge Management Team. In this capacity, the Director will set KM priorities with input from staff and SMEs, provide training and technical support, and facilitate the consistent sharing and implementation of best practices across all areas of work.
