About The Position

As a Director Of IT, you’ll play a meaningful role in operation, reliability, and performance of the organization’s IT infrastructure, technical services, and end-user support. This role owns the day-to-day delivery of infrastructure and operational services, ensuring systems and networks are stable, secure, and responsive to organizational needs. The position works collaboratively across departments to implement technology solutions, resolve technical issues, support business operations, and lead the teams responsible for infrastructure and technical support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, systems engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Five to 10 years of experience in IT management with responsibility for infrastructure, operations, and/or technical support.
  • Broad experience with IT infrastructure systems, including networks, servers, cloud environments, storage, and endpoint management.
  • Experience leading infrastructure and operations teams in a multi-site or distributed environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing IT operating budgets, capital planning, and vendor/service provider relationships.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing and diverse technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical teams, non-technical staff, and leadership.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related field of study
  • Prior experience as department director
  • Prior experience in healthcare, particularly in the field of IDD
  • Professional certification preferred in one or more relevant areas (CISSP, ITIL, CGEIT, Lean/Six Sigma, PMP, etc.)
