About The Position

Piper Companies is looking for an Director of IT Infrastructure for one of the country's largest and most premier life insurance firms located near Frederick, MD. This is a highly visible role that will help drive stability and modernization across a national footprint.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as an IT Leader supporting Networks, Servers, and Systems
• Prior experience with networking protocols, - LANs, WANs, routing, switching
• Adept at delivering stable, DR-focused, high availability environments
• Cloud hosting experience - AWS, Azure, GCP
• Experienced with Virtualization, RDBMS, and Backups
• Prior experience managing teams of 15+ with budgets of upwards of $5M+
• Skilled in communication, highly adaptable, and capable of working across cross functional teams and with large service providers

Responsibilities

• Manage IT projects focused on improving efficiencies and performance
• Design, scope, and execute project plans working with cross-functional teams
