About The Position

As a Director of IT Infrastructure Services, the primary function of this position is overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure. This includes managing networking, server, and cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate for the Director of IT Infrastructure Services will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a strategic mindset. Your contributions will ensure the success of the Technology department at CITY Furniture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in applicable field or equivalent work experience
• 5 or more years of experience in management.
• 3 years of experience in network (LAN, WAN, and Wireless) and server infrastructure with a strong focus on security.
• Demonstrated field experience.

Responsibilities

• Team, Infrastructure, and Security Oversight
• Establish service level agreements and monitor progress toward key service performance indicators (KPI's) or metrics both internally and for partners/vendors.
• Manage the development and delivery of IT standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure information system security & core system uptime and availability across the enterprise.
• Oversee the selection, development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement of the company's technology infrastructure.
• Stay current in technological trends and proactively provide technology recommendations.
• Support the Cyber Security team in the planning and implementation of security standards, practices and procedures to ensure system security and legal compliance.
• Assist staff in developing methods and processes to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and security of the network services, desktop support and user support functions.
• Balance operational tasks with long-term strategic technology and security initiatives.
• Oversee the daily operations of the Cloud Services and Network Services sub departments within the Technology Department.
• Communicate job expectations, plans, monitor, and appraise job results.
• Coach, counsel, and discipline associates.
• Maintain staff, train associates, develop personal growth opportunities, manage timecards.
• Effectively communicate and support company strategic plans and standards.
• Manage vendor relationships ensuring that service levels and vendor obligations are met.
• Act as project manager on assigned technology projects.
• Monitor the performance, reliability, availability, and security of the network and server infrastructure.
• Implement disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security controls.
• Ensure the availability of the telecommunications network and telecommunication applications.
• Manage departmental budget and financial objectives.
