Position Overview The Director of Instrumental Music provides leadership, strategy, and instruction for the instrumental music program which includes the recruitment of incoming students, creation of meaningful instrumental experiences, retention of current students by providing a variety of curricular and co-curricular instrumental offerings, and fostering an environment in which they can grow. The Director may also teach courses in music or related areas, depending on expertise and departmental needs.
