Director of Inpatient Nursing
About The Position
Director of Inpatient Nursing JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Inpatient Nursing is responsible for the day-to-day activities consistent with providing optimal patient care services that include Med/Surg, ICU and Telemetry. The position provides leadership, organization, planning, direction and administration of those services congruent with the established standards of practice and the goals of the overall network and organization. Ensures that the delivery of services and programs continues to respond to the needs of the patients, physicians and the community while contributing to the financial stability of the facility and organization. Collaborates with all members of the local health care team to provide quality service to our customers and proactively supports Mesa View Regional Hospital's mission, values and vision.
Requirements
- BSN required. MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years acute care experience required with critical care preferred, including five (5) years of management or supervisory experience.
- Must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Nevada.
- Current BLS and ALS upon hire.
- PALS within 3 months of start.
- Bachelors or better in Nursing.
- C-ARC-BLS
- C-ARC-ALS
- L-NV-RN License
- C-ARC-PALS
