About The Position

The Director of Infrastructure is responsible for oversight and operational leadership of all the company IT Infrastructure (Data Center, Network, Cloud Operations, and Workforce Productivity, including Phones & Conferencing) related systems and services. This individual will have the role of directing a team that manages IT service providers, projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and strategic objectives that are related to these IT service domains. This role is also responsible for effective vendor management, maintaining healthy relationships and strong performance levels among the managed service providers under contract with the company. Maintaining strong relationships with business leaders across functions is critical for IT to partner with other departments to understand business requirements and deliver solutions. This individual will also partner with IT leaders across the company to collaborate on and deliver solutions that benefit and safeguard the entire enterprise. Collaborate with CIO to develop and execute the company’s IT strategy and assess and recommend infrastructure improvements, upgrades, and IT investments to enhance efficiency, scalability, and performance. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage systems, virtualization, and telecommunications systems. Establish metrics, key performance indicators and service level agreements for driving the performance of IT service delivery. Work with CIO to strengthen policies and procedures to reduce risk and improve infrastructure reliability. Collaborates with IT leaders across the company to develop and implement infrastructure technology strategies for both enterprise-wide and company-specific programs that will add value to and protect the organization. Develops or approves IT cloud, security, and other applicable architectures along with supporting functional and technical documentation. Researches new technology and develops business cases to support company and enterprise-wide initiatives. Creates, manages, and reviews processes, partnering with business colleagues to establish appropriate service level objectives, and deliver projects and continuous improvement initiatives across all infrastructure-related solutions and services. Ensures that IT projects are delivered on time, under budget, and with quality. Proactively identifies processes that would benefit from system automation to increase operating efficiencies then deliver a design for the solution. Assesses the impact of IT industry trends to current and future enterprise infrastructure needs and project.
