About The Position

Grain Millers, Inc. is a leading manufacturer and merchandiser of whole grain ingredients used in food products around the world. For almost 40 years, we've supplied ingredients to nearly every major food company in North America. With almost 1,100 employees across the U.S. and Canada, our Eden Prairie, MN headquarters supports a growing network of mills, warehouses, and production facilities. We are embarking on a multi-year modernization journey to standardize core processes, enhance security, and scale operations through technology. The Director of Infrastructure & Operations will be a key driver in this transformation, ensuring our systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with our growth. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality, clean-label products to customers across North America.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership roles
  • Experience working in manufacturing environments and managing multi-site operations
  • Strong knowledge of network architecture
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
  • Proven track record in leading infrastructure modernization and operational excellence initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong vendor management capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead high-performing teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals
  • Oversee network architecture, data center operations, and cloud services
  • Manage IT operations including service desk and hardware lifecycle
  • Ensure cybersecurity in collaboration with the Information Security team
  • Standardize operating procedures and IT policies across sites
  • Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts
  • Support ERP and enterprise application implementations
  • Monitor KPIs for uptime, performance, and service delivery
  • Mentor and develop infrastructure and operations team
