About The Position

The IT Director at evolvedMD is responsible for providing oversight, leadership, and strategic direction for the IT department. This role involves ensuring the seamless integration of the IT strategy across the organization, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders, and executing innovative technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong customer service mindset and be adaptable to changing priorities, ensuring that the organization remains agile and responsive to its technology needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of professional IT experience with progressive leadership experience.
• Deep knowledge of cloud solutions, network management, and virtual environments.
• Experience with HIPAA and healthcare-specific security requirements.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and working with various stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in behavioral health services or healthcare technology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of IT initiatives by outlining a strategic plan, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Oversee the outsourced Help Desk vendor, ensuring service-level agreements (SLAs) are met and quality of service is maintained.
• Follow regulatory and corporate protocols to ensure that HIPAA security protocols are met, working closely with the Compliance Officer and external security specialists.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including cloud services and mobile device management.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external customers to collect feedback and guide improvements to the IT strategy.
• Monitor the IT budget and ensure funds are allocated effectively to meet strategic goals.
