About The Position
The Director of Information Technology Systems is responsible for providing and managing administrative programming and support services to all campuses and departments. This role requires a strong understanding of the TEA's Systems, including PEIMS, TSDS, Ed-Fi, and TEDS systems, as well as data requirements associated with these systems. The position demands a comprehensive knowledge of data analysis principles, including statistical and mathematical computations, and a solid grasp of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the Texas Public Information Act (TPIA). The Director will also need to demonstrate strong organizational skills to coordinate district-wide committees and projects effectively.
