About The Position

The Director of Information Technologies for the County of El Dorado is a full-time, at-will Department Head position responsible for overseeing the Information Technologies Department. This role involves providing secure, reliable, and modern IT infrastructure to support the business objectives of various County Departments. The Director will lead strategic planning initiatives, manage budgets, and ensure effective communication with elected officials and governing bodies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Significant experience in strategic planning and IT management.
• Proven track record of budget development and management.
• Experience presenting to elected officials and governing bodies.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
