About The Position
Full time. Director of Informatics leverages clinical expertise to plan, implement, and maintain clinical applications that support safe, effective patient care. Serves as a key liaison between Information Services, physicians, leadership and clinical end-users, supporting communication, workflow optimization, and issue resolution. This role requires strong leadership presence and the ability to influence across departments. This role oversee Clinical Informatics, Cardiac Rehab, Safety and Employee Health, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Iowa RN license
- Must obtain appropriate certifications required to train new staff, physicians, and students
- Minimum 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience
Nice To Haves
- BSN or willing to obtain a bachelor’s degree in health related field within 3 years
- Experience in clinical informatics and Epic preferred
