About The Position
The Director of Infection Control at Ascension Via Christi in Wichita, Kansas, is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive infection control policies, procedures, and strategies within the organization. The Director will evaluate the infection control program by identifying strategies that effectively address the risk of infection transmission and assess the risk for occupational exposure to infectious diseases. Additionally, this role involves leading the analysis and interpretation of data related to healthcare-associated infections, with the goal of recommending actionable plans to optimize patient outcomes and enhance the overall effectiveness of the infection control program.
