Learn more at www.Crothall.com.Job SummaryDirector of Human Resources Grade 15 The job has multi-campus responsibilities included but are not limited to advising, developing, and administering human resources policies in the areas of employee engagement, recruitment, separation, employee relations, employee retention, disability and leave management, benefits, job descriptions, compensation, performance management, training, safety, worker’s compensation and project management. Employee Engagement/Retention •            Works with management teams to drive employee engagement in association with client goals. •            Helps drive participation in corporate engagement survey, action planning and improvement in engagement •            Drives retention through good Employee relations practices and employee engagement •            Facilitate and have responsibility for 30/60/90 evaluation process with all new hires Recruitment •            Accesses current recruitment processes and makes recommendations for improvement •            Ensures compliance with the Compass Group Talent Acquisition and client partner recruiting protocols. •            Submitting and responsibility for candidate pipeline, onboarding process •            Record Keeping, planning & facilitating onboarding for hourly Employee Relations •            Liaison with managers and the client HR teams •            Helps establish best practices and drives consistency in employee relations issues, including term Manage and insure employee retention strategies are in place and properly executed. •            Supports EEOC and law suit claims documentation and delivers training where needed on Performance Management/employee relations concerns/needs.  •            Manages employee relations to include working with employees to resolve sensitive or difficult work-related problems, investigation, employee coaching and performance issues Human Resources Compliance •            Ensures all necessary hiring and termination paperwork is filed appropriately. •            Assist locations on employee file maintenance to ensure they are in compliance with all state and federal laws. •            Ensures Regulatory Compliance for I-9 and Wage and Hour laws and Labor Relations •            Participates in labor relations disputes and negotiations •            Serves as the leave of absence liaison between employee and LOA department to ensure compliance Other •            Assists with communicating employee benefits programs and to escalate/resolve benefits issues or inquiries. •            Ensure payroll is being completed timely and no pay issues •            Training regarding HR & LR as well as LWS learning in coordination with site leadership •            Supports Management soft skills training in coordination with site leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or the equivalent experience/training
  • Thorough knowledge of human resources

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM: CP, SCP, and or PHR, SPHR certifications preferred.
