About The Position

This leadership role requires someone who embodies kindness, leads with emotional intelligence, and promotes a culture of inclusivity, trust, and respect across all levels of the organization. The position involves leading and directing all aspects of human resources operations, policies, and programs. The successful candidate will develop and execute HR strategies that align with organizational goals and values, oversee recruitment, hiring, and onboarding to attract and retain top talent, and provide leadership in employee engagement, performance management, and professional growth opportunities. Additionally, the role requires ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • New York State certification as a School District Administrator (SDA), School Business Administrator (SBA), School District Leader (SDL), School District Business Leader (SDBL) or School Administrator.
  • Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a master's degree in public or business administration, personnel, political science, industrial relations or related field and three years of experience in personnel administration or labor relations, which shall have included either position classification, recruitment, employee selection or negotiating or administering employee contracts.
  • Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a bachelor's degree in public or business administration, personnel, political science, industrial relations or related field and four years of experience in personnel administration or labor relations, which shall have included either position classification, recruitment, employee selection or negotiating or administering employee contracts.
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above.

  • Lead and direct all aspects of human resources operations, policies, and programs.
