About The Position

The Director of Human Resources at Progressive Community Health Centers is responsible for guiding, managing, and improving the overall Human Resources services, policies, and programs within the organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources, preferably with two years in a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Competent in software applications including correspondence and spreadsheets.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and strong analytical and planning skills.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate problem-solving meetings with employees and managers regarding employee relations.
  • Oversee terminations to ensure organizational protection and prepare defenses for unemployment and Equal Employment claims.
  • Guide management decisions to assure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory agencies.
  • Train managers and informal leaders in management tools and practices reflecting organizational values.
  • Ensure employees receive regular feedback on performance and development plans are in place.
  • Design and implement sourcing strategies to attract talented employees.
  • Design and implement targeted processes to help assimilate employees into the organization.
  • Administer and oversee human resource programs including compensation, benefits, and leave management.
  • Conduct research and analyze organizational trends for hiring and talent management best practices.
  • Assist in the execution of safety, worker compensation, and OSHA compliance.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with a competitive salary range of $86,000 - $172,000 per year.
  • No requirement to work late nights, weekends, or holidays.
