About The Position

The Director of Human Resources is responsible for providing leadership, direction, instruction, and training for the district's personnel management system. The goal is to ensure optimal utilization of human resources to support and facilitate successful educational programs. The role requires knowledge of the Florida Administrative Code, federal rules and regulations governing the employment process and equal employment opportunity, as well as the collective bargaining process and related statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential, along with the ability to manage the department's budget and finances.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Educational Leadership or related field from an accredited educational institution.
• Three (3) years of successful experience in education, including experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity.
• Valid Florida certification in Educational Leadership, Administration and Supervision, School Principal, or Professional School Principal.
• Experience in personnel management or human resources development preferred.
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening.
