About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and people-centered Director of HR Operations & Technology to help shape an exceptional employee experience while driving operational excellence across our organization. This is a high-impact leadership role for a strategic thinker who brings professionalism, compassion, and a passion for building systems that empower people and strengthen culture. In this role, you will provide both strategic vision and hands-on leadership across all HR operations and technology. You will oversee HR systems, processes, and programs that support compliance, scalability, and workforce engagement, while continuously improving how employees and leaders experience HR. As a trusted adviser to senior leadership, you will partner closely with leaders across the organization to identify trends, diagnose challenges, and deliver both immediate solutions and long-term improvements. You will lead and develop a high-performing HR Operations team and ensure our HR infrastructure evolves with the needs of a growing organization. Requirements

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect HR strategy to organizational outcomes
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • A systems-oriented mindset with the ability to see patterns, solve complex problems, and drive change
  • Comfort operating at both strategic and tactical levels in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field required.
  • 8+ years progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • 5+ years in HRIS or HR Operations management, including implementation of new HR technology.
  • Proven expertise in payroll, compensation, benefits, HRIS systems, and onboarding in global or multi-site organizations.
  • Experience managing multi-state payroll; California experience highly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification within one year of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • UKG HRIS Software Experience preferred.
  • Experience with Canada and Mexico a plus.
  • HR Generalist or Talent Acquisition experience a plus.
  • Certifications such as CCP, CEBS, CPP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or PHR highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, integration, and optimization of HRIS platforms and HR technologies
  • Oversee HR operations including compensation, benefits, onboarding, reporting, and compliance
  • Drive efficient, scalable HR processes that enhance organizational performance and employee experience
  • Champion company culture, inclusion, and engagement initiatives
  • Partner with business leaders to align HR solutions with organizational goals
  • Analyze data and trends to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution when needed
