ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Yearly budgeting, forecasting and scheduling of staff and projects. Research & development of products and practices. Develop, maintain & enforce Housekeeping Standard of Operations. Communicate with all Managers/Directors as to the needs of each department Setup & maintain a solid vender base. Record keeping, daily, weekly & monthly reports Billing and A/P Payroll forecast and management Inventory & quality control Personnel management, interview, hire, terminate , counseling & evaluations Training Inspection of facilities Communicating all pertinent information to department staff Active in serving on any committee or board Hands on Housekeeping Duties when needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required and 5 years of experience within hotel or operations management in similar environment; resort experience preferred. College degree in a hospitality related industry, valued ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Position requires flexibility of schedule, creativity, social and interpersonal skills, decision making ability, initiative and sense of urgency. These skills are required in order to address the daily items/issues which occur on a daily basis within the resort. Excellent interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite required Knowledge of Daylight, SMS and TimeSaver software programs, valued Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills Requires a high degree of problem solving abilities. Requires excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to get along well with others, demonstrate flexibility and patience, work as a member of a team. Maintain a clean, safe and environmentally responsible work environment. Professional demeanor in both mannerism and appearance Maintain proper associate uniform standards and footwear which is slip resistant, enclosed toe and heel.
