The Director of Hospitality leads the strategic growth and revenue performance of our national hospitality vertical. This hybrid role combines executive level sales leadership with hands-on business development, driving expansion across major brands including Marriott, Hilton, Wyndham and others as well as large ownership and management groups. This leader owns key enterprise relationships, oversees a small but high impact sales team, and shapes the go-to-market strategy that positions the company as the preferred signage and brand partner in the hospitality sector. The Director of Hospitality sets the vision for vertical performance, opens new national accounts, and elevates customer partnerships through industry expertise, solution innovation, and a deep understanding of brand standards and property lifecycle needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience; hospitality brand, management company, or ownership group experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success acquiring new enterprise accounts and expanding multi-stakeholder client relationships.
  • Strong executive presence with proven presentation, negotiation, and influence skills.
  • Exceptional relationship-building ability across corporate, regional, and ownership-level stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to leverage CRM data for forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic planning.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
  • Experience navigating hospitality brand standards, PIPs, renovation cycles, signage programs, or capital project environments preferred.
  • Travel is expected to be about 10-20%. This position is required to travel as an essential function of this role due to the need for in-person interaction with customers, field partners, and/or business stakeholders. Travel may include local, regional, or national destinations and may be conducted via automobile, air, or other modes of transportation. All travel must be pre-approved in accordance with company policy and conducted in compliance with applicable safety and expense guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a small hospitality-focused sales team to achieve vertical revenue targets and pipeline goals.
  • Create a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Sales SVP to refine vertical structure, sales motions, territory alignment, and resource planning.
  • Guide team members in developing strategic account plans and pursuing multi stakeholder, complex sales cycles.
  • Carry a personal book of business while maintaining ownership of key enterprise hospitality accounts.
  • Actively prospect national hospitality accounts - corporate, ownership, and management organizations.
  • Drive expansion within existing customer portfolios by uncovering new opportunities and increasing wallet share.
  • Lead the pursuit of national agreements, multi-property rollouts, and long-term partnership programs.
  • Deliver predictable forecasting, disciplined pipeline management, and consistent revenue performance.
  • Build and execute a multi-year growth strategy for the hospitality vertical, in collaboration with Sales and Marketing leadership.
  • Partner with Marketing to create hospitality specific campaigns, messaging, and sales collateral.
  • Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and trade shows; serve as a thought leader and brand ambassador.
  • Stay ahead of hospitality trends - brand standards, renovation cycles, PIPs, signage requirements, ownership structures and translating insights into actionable opportunities.
  • Ensure an exceptional end to end client experience by working closely with project management, engineering, manufacturing, installation, and service teams.
  • Identify customer pain points and develop tailored signage, branding, maintenance, or refresh solutions aligned with property lifecycle needs.
  • Resolve escalations with a solutions-oriented, relationship driven approach.
  • Maintain a holistic view of the vertical and advocate for improvements that enhance customer outcomes and operational efficiency.
