The Director of the Holy Cross Justice Collaborative serves as a mission-centered leader for justice, peace, and the integrity of creation across the Family of Holy Cross. Grounded in Catholic Social Teaching and the charism of Holy Cross, the Director guides and strengthens shared justice commitments, ensuring initiatives are mission-aligned, strategically focused, and sustainable. The Director sets direction, stewards common priorities, and leads committees, staff, and partners in alignment with articulated justice goals and the broader mission of Holy Cross. By fostering strong global relationships, shared accountability, and effective structures for action, the Director sustains a cohesive, mission-driven approach to justice rooted in institutional integrity and social justice values. ROLE STRUCTURE: DUAL RESPONSIBILITY The Director leads in two distinct but related capacities, each with defined responsibilities accountability, and outcomes: 1. Holy Cross Justice Collaborative (Inter-Congregational) Provides leadership for justice collaboration among the four congregations of the Family of Holy Cross, with primary responsibility for convening and guiding the Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation Collaborators Committee. 2. Sisters of the Holy Cross Justice Office (Congregational) Advances justice priorities of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, including oversight, accompaniment, and formation of the Congregation Justice Committee (CJC). While some initiatives intersect, each area includes distinct planning, decision-making, and reporting responsibilities.
