About The Position
The Director of Guidance, Counseling & Social Work for grades 6-12 is responsible for leading the staff in developing and implementing guidance programming, counseling services, and social work support. This position involves evaluating the counselors and guidance secretarial staff at Columbia High School and articulating with 8th-grade parents. The Director will also assist the District HIB Coordinator with monitoring, assessing, investigating, and reporting incidents of Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) in accordance with state and district policy.
