About The Position

The Director of Group Sales at Hilton Cleveland Downtown is responsible for leading the Group Sales Team in developing and implementing market territory action plans. This role focuses on achieving revenue goals through room night and average rate targets while also assisting in the development and management of the Sales Team. The position plays a crucial role in Hilton's Commercial Services organization, which drives sales, revenue, marketing, and analytics functions essential for profitable growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years in hospitality sales & marketing leadership preferred.
  • Three (3) years cross-functional experience in hotel management or related industry experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional/advanced degree coursework in business administration, marketing, and communications.
  • Adaptable experience with business strategy, business planning, and business plan development.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages.
  • Multiple Brand experience.
  • Proficiency in Delphi FDC preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Group Sales Team to establish and implement market territory action plans.
  • Achieve revenue goals by meeting room night and average rate targets.
  • Assist in the development and management of the Sales Team.
  • Direct the Sales Team to develop and refine their skills and prepare for advancement.
  • Establish group sales strategy, overall direction, and lead generation in conjunction with marketing efforts.
  • Administer the sales incentive program, team building, individual performance reviews, and trip reports.
  • Travel with Managers and hold meetings to assist in closing business.
