About The Position

Baylor University Athletic Department is searching for a Director of Governance and Regulatory Affairs to serve as a liaison for assigned sports teams by providing guidance on day-to-day regulatory matters including interpretations, investigations, waivers and violations. A Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience is required and a Master's with 5 years of experience is preferred. All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Master's degree with 5 years of experience preferred.
  • Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage compliance monitoring of NCAA, Big 12, CSC/House Settlement and Baylor institutional rules and policies.
  • Manage recruiting, eligibility and playing season documentation processes for assigned teams.
  • Collaborate with campus stakeholders such as admissions, financial aid and the registrar's office.
  • Assist with the execution of a rules education plan for assigned sports and units.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
