What You’ll Do: As a Director of GoodWorks (Mission Programs) , you’ll oversee the GoodWorks program and lead a team committed to excellence. You’ll play a key role in supporting our mission to enable employment by providing opportunities for personal and professional growth, while committing to sustainable practices. Requirements

  • Willing and able to follow Southern Oregon Goodwill’s policies and formal Code of Conduct.
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity, contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Includes Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong time management skills and personal efficiency.
  • Able to efficiently multitask.
  • Exercise judgment, resourcefulness, ingenuity, and initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Ability to manage conflict and solve problems.

  • Must maintain a valid Driver’s License, and a driving record acceptable to Goodwill’s liability insurance provider.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development, or equivalent highly desired.
  • Five plus years' management experience in Human Resources positions.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR or SPHR) certification highly desired.
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources management, or comparable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the strategic direction, design, and expansion of all GoodWorks and mission-related programs.
  • Identifies emerging community needs, funding opportunities, and partnership strategies.
  • Establishes outcome measures and performance targets to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Oversee daily operations of mission programs to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Leads and owns CARF accreditation for all mission programs.
  • Manages mission program budgets in partnership with Finance.
  • Serves as a senior leader contributing to organizational strategy.
