DIRECTOR OF GOLF MAINTENANCE & GROUNDS The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Director of Golf Maintenance and Grounds who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. The Director of Golf Maintenance and Grounds has the opportunity to shape our guests’ experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization is required.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and according to manufacturer’s specifications.
- Ability to obtain Hawaii Restricted Use Pesticide license within 1 year.
- Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States.
Nice To Haves
- Experience preferred in computer software systems including Cirrus / SitePro; WorkDay; Birchstreet.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement the maintenance program, for two golf courses and associated grounds including: standards of quality; agronomic cultural practices; water budgeting and usage; Integrated Pest Management; purchasing and inventory tracking.
- Manage golf maintenance and grounds staff and managers including training and instructing staff to meet and exceed departmental standards; training and instructing staff on the maintenance and operation of all equipment in the fleet; assigning and prioritizing job tasks; creating weekly work schedules.
- As needed to recruit, interview, and train staff in coordination with Security and People and Culture.
- Project, prepare, monitor and execute the Golf Maintenance budget and labor standards.
- Assist in capital equipment purchase recommendations.
- Perform duties with due regard for personal and staff safety, exercising proper care and protection of company property.
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment, including meeting OSHA requirements.
