About The Position

Michels Corporation is seeking a Director, Global AI & Data Program to lead enterprise-wide AI and data strategy. This role oversees global AI and data governance, compliance, and architecture to ensure alignment with corporate goals, regulations, and ethical standards. The Director will define and execute roadmaps for AI, machine learning, and data platforms, ensuring scalability, compliance, and responsible use. By driving trusted, data-driven decision-making, this role enables innovation and operational excellence across Michels’ global operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise AI and/or data governance, architecture, or compliance.
• 7–10 years of experience managing technical teams and complex governance or architecture functions.
• Knowledge of adaptive AI governance principles.
• Expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and compliance.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influence across global, cross‑functional environments.
• Knowledge of enterprise AI and data platform ecosystems and architecture.
• Ability to integrate technology and business strategy in an asset-intensive or field-driven organization.
• Familiarity with enterprise ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Viewpoint, CoRe (Coins), Workday, or similar platforms.
• A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record.
