The Director of FP&A and Business Intelligence will play a critical role in driving strategic financial planning and analysis initiatives while also overseeing the Business Intelligence team. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to leverage data-driven insights to enable informed decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, business intelligence, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven ability to lead organizations through change and in maturing business processes and capabilities.
  • Demonstrated people leadership skills - creates followership and continually raises the bar for talent and performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Expert proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and leveraging technology to enhance FP&A and BI capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, Oracle) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, trends, and variances to help senior leadership understand the company's financial health.
  • Optimize resource allocation by assessing investment opportunities, cost structures, and capital expenditures.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior management by providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, operations, and HR to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to track progress against financial and operational targets.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial forecasts to support effective decision-making and resource planning.
  • Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Benefits

  • Base salary range for this role is $165,000- $275,000.
  • All employees may be eligible to become Menlo Security shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants.
