About The Position
The Director of Football Player Personnel assists the Football General Manager with NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision recruiting, including scouting, evaluating, and identifying potential student-athletes. The position requires coordination of official and unofficial visits, game day visits, and junior day activities, ensuring compliance with NCAA regulations. The Director is responsible for maintaining communication with academic advisors, monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes, and ensuring compliance with academic policies. Additionally, the role includes overseeing recruiting efforts, managing scholarship counts, and maintaining effective relationships with various stakeholders within the athletics department.
