About The Position

Requirements

• Master's Degree in any field from an accredited institution of higher education.
• Four years of related experience in student activities, event management, or program coordination, including at least 2 years of management level experience.
• Experience working with college students and understanding diverse backgrounds.

• Knowledge of California Community College Athletics Association (3C2A) bylaws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer, direct and supervise all aspects of the football program including facilities, schedules, athlete eligibility, and insurance.
• Recommend for hire, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches and staff associated with the program.
• Work with the Athletic Director to develop planning for student success initiatives and the athletic program.
• Oversee outreach and student recruitment for the football program.
• Develop, allocate, and monitor the program budget and ensure compliance.
• Assist with fundraising and sponsorship initiatives for the athletic program.
• Prepare statistical and narrative reports related to assigned operations and programs.
• Ensure continuity, equity, and compliance within the program.
• Establish an environment conducive to the welfare and academic success of student-athletes.
• Support the Kinesiology Department in academic compliance and curriculum development.
• Participate in strategic planning for the program and college.
• Develop and execute fundraising efforts for the football program.
• Promote the program and college within the community.
