About The Position
The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for the daily management of the Food and Beverage Department, which includes concessions, mobile carts, general event catering, culinary, catering sales, menu development, financials, and budgets. This position directs and coordinates the entire food and beverage operation by performing various duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. The role involves marketing Food and Beverage services to clients, fostering positive client relations, and managing departmental operations and personnel. The Director creates sales projections and budgets for facility events, oversees inventory and fiscal reporting, and ensures compliance with health regulations and service standards. Additionally, the position requires hiring and training new employees, controlling costs, and maintaining quality standards.
