About The Position

The Director of Floral Art will oversee the design and visual aspects of all floral projects, ensuring that the final product aligns with the client's vision and goals. This includes deciding which floral elements to include, establishing the overall look for the project, and approving designs or artwork. The Director of Floral Art may also be responsible for creating and presenting concept boards, mood boards, and other design presentations to clients.

Requirements

• Floral Design Skills: Proficiency in floral design and arrangement is essential. This includes understanding floral mechanics, creating centerpieces, and preparing recipes for weddings and special events.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional floral design experience, as well as experience in the hospitality industry is required. Floral Industry or business-to-business distribution is preferred.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for interacting with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills are crucial for providing quality service to clients and resolving any issues that arise.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM/BI tools like Intellivent is preferred.
• Travel and Independence: The ability to travel independently and work in the field is a significant requirement.
• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid Nevada driver license.
• Must possess the ability to lead and manage a department.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Oversee Design and Visual Aspects: Responsible for the overall design and visual direction of floral projects, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.
• Lead Creative Development: Directs creative teams, including designers and photographers, to develop cohesive brand campaigns and graphic standards.
• Collaborate with Various Teams: Works closely with marketing, brand, and product teams to align visual communications with business goals.
• Manage Client Portfolios: Oversees floral arrangements for weddings, retail orders, and online sales, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and Maintain Creative Vision: Creates compelling visuals that resonate with the target audience and drives engagement.
• Lead and mentor their own team.
• Other duties as assigned.
