Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • CPA or CFA certification is highly desirable.
  • 7-10 years banking or mortgage servicing industry experience required
  • Proven experience in financial management, accounting, treasury, and risk management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis tools.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or CFA certification is highly desirable.
  • Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes to ensure financial stability and growth.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to support internal reporting and drive informed decision-making.
  • Design, prepare and present internal financial reports, including LOB performance, profitability, and scorecards.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of merger and acquisition opportunities to support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Assess and manage interest rate risks to optimize financial outcomes in uncertain interest rate environment.
  • Monitor and manage liquidity risks to ensure adequate cash flow and financial stability.
  • Manage, analyze, and trade the securities portfolio to meet liquidity and yield needs within defined parameters.
  • Manage funding of balance sheet growth, ensuring short and long term liquidity needs are met.
  • Monitor and guide line of business use of back-to-back swaps and manage use of derivatives to hedge balance sheet from interest rate risk.
  • Develop and maintain pricing models for loans and deposits to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
