The individual will work effectively and courteously with fellow employees and is responsible for planning, communicating, and implementing procedures for the efficient operation of their areas of responsibility. This includes coordinating the accurate preparation and distribution of the property's financial reporting, monitoring and analyzing financial performance results, managing property cash, and ensuring the accuracy of the balance sheet. The role also involves maintaining department compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, government regulations, and internal controls, while actively participating in the property executive management staff. Responsibilities include reviewing staffing levels, delegating authority, overseeing the development and evaluation of finance employees, facilitating monthly P&L meetings, acting as a liaison with auditors, and overseeing the annual budgeting and forecasting processes. The individual assumes overall responsibility for the performance of the Finance Department and the property, issues performance documents, and performs other duties as assigned, completing all company-required training within designated time frames.
