We are seeking a Director of Finance to lead all financial operations for a high-performing hotel that consistently exceeds financial expectations. This role offers a unique opportunity for a strong Assistant Director of Finance or Senior Finance Leader ready to step into their first DOF position, with the support of an experienced team and a well-established operational foundation. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of progressive experience in hotel finance, hospitality accounting, or financial leadership
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
Understanding of hospitality accounting systems and internal controls
Ability to translate financial data into clear business insights
Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and mentor team members
Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Experience in an Assistant Director of Finance, Controller, or similar role preferred

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of hotel financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and internal controls
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support revenue growth and profitability
Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements
Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and hospitality financial standards
Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to drive strategic decision-making
Manage and mentor a team of 2 in a decentralized accounting environment
Strengthen financial processes and reporting accuracy across departments
Support audits, capital planning, and long-term financial strategy
