About The Position

CRI Advantage is seeking a Director of Finance to support financial operations and strategic business initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, accounting operations, payroll, and cross-functional business processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. As a key partner to executive leadership, the Director of Finance will provide financial insight into business performance, support decision-making, and drive improvements across financial systems and operational workflows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or business operations.
  • Experience overseeing financial operations including reporting, payroll, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, cash management, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience working in a services-based or project-based environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
  • Project based revenue recognition
  • Experience in the IT Services business space.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience with ERP systems such as Unanet
  • Exposure to project accounting, cost tracking, or revenue recognition
  • MBA or advanced degree (completed or in progress)
  • Experience supporting executive-level decision-making
  • Background in process improvement or operational leadership

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership across financial operations including accounting, payroll, and reporting functions
  • Oversee monthly financial close processes and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data
  • Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and overall business health
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Partner with executive leadership to align financial insights with business strategy
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risk
  • Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and financial obligations
  • Drive process improvements across financial systems and operational workflows
  • Ensure alignment between financial reporting and operational performance
  • Lead and support cross-functional teams across finance and operations
  • Manage financial systems including ERP platforms (e.g., Unanet) and payroll systems
