About The Position

Symbiotic Services is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to support a high-performing executive leadership team within a manufacturing business unit. This role partners directly with the CFO and President of the division, contributing strategic insight across budgeting, forecasting, capital investment analysis, pricing, costing, corporate reporting, and overall financial performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s in Finance/Economics preferred).
  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven leadership experience in financial strategy and operations.
  • Strong skills in financial analysis, modeling, and dashboard creation (Excel, Power BI).
  • Proficient in ERP systems, MS Office; experience with Hyperion is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing operations and business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all financial reporting processes, including monthly, quarterly, annual reports, and presentations for leadership and board meetings.
  • Provide financial modeling and variance analysis related to budget and forecasts.
  • Analyze capital investments using tools such as NPV and IRR.
  • Develop and present key performance indicators (KPIs) to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Maintain complex financial models to evaluate and improve revenue and operational strategies.
  • Conduct statistical and predictive data analysis to identify profit-driving opportunities.
  • Support corporate events and ensure accurate pricing data within systems.
  • Oversee Bill of Materials (BOMs) to ensure new products align with costing models.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to advance company initiatives.
  • Manage and guide the Pricing Analysts team.
  • Assist with strategic planning, long-range goals, and policy development.
  • Act as a committee leader or facilitator as needed.
  • Promote a culture aligned with the organization’s values.
  • Support employee onboarding and resolve operational issues.
  • Uphold safety protocols and compliance with company policies and laws.
