About The Position

As Director of Finance (DOF), you will shape the financial strength, integrity, and long-term sustainability of Planned Parenthood of Tennessee & North Mississippi (PPTNM). As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and trusted strategic finance business partner to the CEO, you will ensure financial strategy directly supports mission delivery across a multi-site nonprofit healthcare organization. You will lead in partnership with the CEO nonprofit financial stewardship, GAAP-compliant reporting, grant accountability, accreditation readiness, and forward-looking financial planning & analysis. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution. In a small, high-performing department with significant volume and complexity, you must be equally comfortable setting financial direction and rolling up your sleeves to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and timely deliverables. You will strengthen systems, enhance automation, and bring clarity to complex, highly regulated financial environments influenced by external governing bodies and funding variability. Working in close partnership with the CEO, you will provide executive-level financial insight and recommendations while operating within established governance structures. The CEO retains final authority over financial decisions and external communications, and you will collaborate to ensure alignment in all Board materials and formal financial disclosures.
