About The Position

The Director of Finance at CBD Kratom is responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, including financial planning, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. This role involves managing all accounting activities related to income auditing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax compliance, while also serving as a key partner to senior leadership in guiding financial decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience as a director of finance or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and navigate financial risks and opportunities.
• Proficient in financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks) and office suite applications.
• Experience in cash management including check and ACH processing, and balance sheet management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the company's overall finances including financial planning, cash management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Manage all accounting activities related to income auditing, accounts payable processing, accounts receivable collection, and tax compliance.
• Guide senior leadership in budget creation and management.
• Develop and implement strategic financial policies based on business needs.
• Conduct thorough analysis of all finance functions, including reporting, forecasting, and risk assessment.
• Develop and oversee treasury functions and banking relationships.
• Create monthly reporting including forecasting, budgeting, and variances.
