New Orleans Restoration Properties (NORP) is seeking a highly experienced, knowledgeable, and capable person to take the reins as our new full-time Director of Finance - Controller . This is a rewarding and dynamic role where you'll optimize our financial processes, mentor our accounting team, and oversee special real estate development projects. You'll work closely with our executive leaders to refine daily processes, improve financial strategies, and support business sustainability. Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all activities, you'll implement new financial planning and analysis strategies, manage cash flow, sustain banking relationships, and oversee tax reporting. You'll also strengthen internal controls and protect our assets. In addition to the day-to-day operations, you'll support business growth by coaching and mentoring our finance and accounting staff. You'll also assist with special projects by analyzing multifamily developments, preparing projections, and evaluating investments in Low-Income Tax Credit properties. This also includes preparing pre-investment reviews, analyzing LIHTC deals, and assisting the quality control committee.   • Clear and effective communication and presentation skills
  • MBA or CPA
  • Real estate development or construction experience
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements, specifically LIHTC and HTC
  • Competitive salary of $80,000-$120,000 per year based on experience, knowledge, and qualifications
