About The Position

Zebby Sulecki, Inc., a premier, values-based, performance-driven construction company in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, seeks an experienced, detail-oriented, trust-worthy, emotionally mature Director of Finance & Accounting who is willing to contribute significantly to the Team as they serve clients by transforming their environments from rough to fine finish. The Director of Finance & Accounting will oversee all financial activities of this 110+ employee company, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and team leadership and management. This exciting opportunity requires strong, proven accounting experience within the construction industry, the ability to develop processes and controls, as well as train and develop a team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, proven financial acumen, be able to solve problems, collaborate and consensus build, and have experience with cost accounting, cost control principles, job costing, and GAAP.

Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 8+ years of accounting experience within the construction industry
  • 5+ years of experience in team leadership and management
  • finance and reporting understanding, interpretation, and forecasting
  • caring and personable
  • able to clearly and consistently communicate with their team and across the organization
  • highly organized
  • process-driven
  • tech-savvy with a very strong IT IQ
  • specializing in Excel, Timberline, and ideally Sage
  • high-level of integrity and dependability
  • strong sense of urgency and initiative
  • ability to optimistically and strategically lead a team

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) licenses
