About The Position

The Director of Facilities is responsible for maintenance and inspections of all properties and residences. In this role, the Director will manage and be the point of contact for any outsourced contractors. Manages transportation fleet's safety, compliance, and maintenance. Oversees fire and security systems' annual audits and ensures a functional and effective system. Ensures that Bridgeway has the most suitable working environment for its employees and consumer and their activities. Focuses on using the best business practice to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity. Requirements

  • Minimum requirements include an Associate's Degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years of facility management experience with preferred supervisory/management experience.
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and meets organization's insurability requirements.
  • Employment with Bridgeway is conditional upon completion of all background checks.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Bridgeway's subject matter expert in planning, scheduling, and approving operations and functions in project work, major repairs, service calls, and pre-priced work requests.
  • Monitor all essential building systems to assure systems are operating correctly and efficiently. Such systems include electrical, mechanical, security, elevator, fire suppression and plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Oversee selection and ongoing contracts with outside vendors for regular maintenance issues such as snow removal, waste management, and landscaping and grounds management services.
  • Coordinate all required building inspections.
  • Ensure all facilities are compliant with all relevant ADA, OSHA, CARF, HUD, ISO and other applicable guidelines.
  • Provide leadership to the Facilities team by setting goals, providing guidance and support, and review performance standards and expectations.
