About The Position

We are seeking a Director of Facilities Management with Rapides Regional Medical Center to promote growth and unlock possibilities. The Director of Facilities Management and Construction demonstrates the ability to effectively manage department quality service, budgets and staffing. Also, appropriately establishes priorities within the department and facility. Demonstrates ability to anticipate problems and works effectively to resolve issues and communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing to patients, physicians, administration, peers and staff. Must have a willingness to participate in guidance and counseling of personnel. Rapides Regional Medical Center is a 350+ bed hospital and ER in Alexandria, Louisiana. We offer services ranging from Cancer Care to Wound Care. Our medical staff includes doctors in more than 30 medical specialties. Requirements

Bachelor of Science or equivalent preferred
Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Knowledgeable of local, state and federal regulations that impact areas of responsibility
Proficiency in computer skills and public speaking skills
