About The Position
The Director of Exceptional Student Services plans, coordinates, manages, and directs the delivery of Marana Unified School District special education programs. This role includes administering program grants, maintaining program regulatory compliance, communicating with parents regarding special education services, and supervising assigned personnel. The position requires collaboration with district school principals and special education staff to implement and maintain high-quality services and programs. The Director also oversees compliance with state and federal regulations, manages crisis situations, and ensures fiscal efficiency in staffing levels for special education programs.
