About The Position

The Director of Event Planning leads comprehensive luxury resort event management, optimizing guest experiences and operational excellence in high-end hospitality settings. This leadership role is responsible for driving event strategy, managing high-performing teams, optimizing event revenue, and maintaining the resort’s reputation as a premier destination for conferences, weddings, corporate retreats, and social gatherings. As a key member of the resort’s leadership team, the Director of Event Planning collaborates closely with Sales, Catering, Food & Beverage, Operations, and Marketing to deliver world‑class events. This role requires strong hospitality management experience, a deep understanding of luxury resort operations, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. The Director of Event Planning plays a pivotal role in elevating resort revenue, brand reputation, and guest satisfaction. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or related field
8+ years of progressive, strategic experience in luxury event planning and management within high-end resort, hotel, and premium hospitality environments, demonstrating expertise in luxury destination events
Proven leadership and team‑management abilities
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and forecasting
Deep knowledge of event operations, catering, banquet management, and guest service standards
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Ability to excel in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments
Strong vendor and client relationship‑building skills
