About The Position

The Director of Environmental Services at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is responsible for providing leadership that supports a team environment fostering morale, passion, quality, and respect. The role involves maintaining and improving customer and patient satisfaction, managing team member recruiting, training, development, and assignments, and performing daily inspections and assessments. The Director will collaborate with department, facility, and company leadership to achieve goals, analyze data to meet facility, budget, and compliance goals, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• 3+ years managing salaried and hourly employees
• 2+ years leading an EVS team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software
• Must be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities
• Must have a valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish
• Floor care experience
• Familiarity with OSHA, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory requirements
