About The Position

The Director of Entertainment + Nightlife is responsible for shaping unique venue identities and establishing impactful partnerships within Hyatt properties. This role integrates nightlife, marketing, and operational programming to enhance guest experiences while aligning with the brand's vision. The director will foster cultural relevance, expand awareness in local and international communities, and generate engaging content for digital platforms.

Requirements

  • Established connections among global and local creative communities.
  • Sociable with strong communication skills.
  • Articulate and sophisticated communicator with high standards of performance and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of AV equipment and lighting systems required.

  • Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and the ability to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a deep understanding of music and nightlife trends, ensuring offerings are current and innovative.
  • Establish and leverage connections within creative and cultural communities.
  • Work closely with hotel departments and venues to develop and maintain each property's unique identity.
  • Uphold brand vision and ensure consistency across all entertainment and nightlife initiatives.
  • Understand and manage budgets for bookings, events, and productions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in audio-visual equipment and lighting systems to support event execution.
  • Apply knowledge of marketing and PR best practices to drive event visibility and guest engagement.
  • Partner with marketing teams to create dynamic content for social media and websites, amplifying brand presence.
  • Inspire and motivate property teams to achieve high standards in entertainment and nightlife programming.
  • Engage with on-site teams, providing direct support and guidance when needed.
  • Exhibit strong social and communication skills, fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Handle challenges with discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Maintain a hospitality-first mindset, delivering exceptional experiences for guests and cultivating respect among colleagues.
  • Exhibit composure under pressure, ensuring seamless event execution in fast-paced environments.
